Henry Clay Senior a JROTC Finalist

A senior at Henry Clay High School, Courtney Tabb, is one of four finalists for Kentucky JROTC Cadet of the Year. The Kentucky Department of Army Instruction (DAI) will announce the winner in May. 

Courtney, who serves as battalion executive officer for the Blue Devils’ Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps group, was named a statewide Cadet of the Quarter last semester. She has also earned the DAI Excellence Arc honor and the Spirit of Lexington Award from Mayor Linda Gorton. 

Additionally, Courtney is fundraiser chair and co-chair of the HCHS Dance Blue Committee as well as captain of Henry Clay’s Dance Team, which secured runner-up honors in two divisions of this year’s state championships.
