About the School

Home to a richly diverse student population representing more than 50 countries, Henry Clay High offers a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for all students. We are proud to host the district's only Army JROTC program as well as a range of Advanced Placement courses. Student also can join a "career pathway" designed to help them identify their interests and select courses to prepare their transition to adulthood.

Our Liberal Arts Academy is continuation gifted-and-talented program that challenges its students in all disciplines with:

• Acceleration
• Differentiation
• Academy seminars
• Academic mentoring
• Independent study
• Foreign language
• Community service

The District Gifted Committee reviews applicants' documentation and offers placements. Note: Eighth-graders in the Middle School Accelerated Program with satisfactory progress automatically join the Liberal Arts Academy and receive "intent to continue" forms in the spring. They need not apply below.
